Opening Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created, and Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Mary's Election from All Eternity
"'The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his work, before his deeds of old." — Proverbs 8:22
From all eternity, God chose Mary to be the Immaculate Mother of His Son. Before the foundations of the world were laid, the Most Holy Trinity decreed that she would be preserved from every stain of original sin. In the mind of God, Mary was the masterpiece of creation, the most perfect of all creatures, destined to bear the Word made flesh.
Let us reflect on the eternal love of God, who prepared a pure and spotless vessel for the Incarnation. In Mary's election, we see the depth of God's providential care for our salvation.
Prayer
O most Holy Virgin, chosen from all eternity to be the Mother of the Eternal Word, intercede for us before the throne of God. Thou who wast conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Help us to respond to God's call with the same fidelity that marked thy life from the very first moment of thy existence. Amen.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

O God, who by the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary didst prepare a worthy dwelling place for Thy Son, we humbly beseech Thee that, as by the foreseen death of Thy Son Thou didst preserve her from all stain of sin, so too grant that through her intercession we may come to Thee with pure hearts. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
