Our Lady of the Rosary Novena - Day 1

Our Lady of the Rosary Novena - Day 1

Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, you gave us this powerful garland of prayers as a path to your Son. We come before you today with humble hearts, trusting in your intercession.

The Gift of the Rosary

"Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!" — Luke 1:42

The Holy Rosary is a treasury of graces given to the Church through the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through the hands of St. Dominic, Our Lady entrusted this weapon of prayer to the faithful, inviting us to meditate on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Each bead is a step closer to the Heart of Christ. Each mystery reveals the saving love of God made manifest through Mary's fiat. The Rosary is not mere repetition but a contemplative journey into the Gospel itself.

Prayer

O Mary, Queen of the Holy Rosary, teach us to pray with devotion and love. Help us to take up the beads each day with renewed faith. Through this novena, draw us deeper into the mysteries of your Son's life. Grant us the grace we seek (mention your intention), if it be according to God's holy will. We trust in your powerful intercession before the throne of God.

The Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Closing Prayer

O God, whose only-begotten Son, by His life, death, and resurrection, has purchased for us the rewards of eternal life, grant, we beseech You, that by meditating upon these mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us.
