Opening Prayer

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Good St. Anne, mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary and grandmother of our Lord Jesus Christ, we come before you with loving confidence. You who held such an exalted place in God's plan of salvation, intercede for us.

Mother of the Blessed Virgin

St. Anne holds the singular honor of being the mother of Mary, the Immaculate Conception. Though Scripture is silent about her, Sacred Tradition tells us that she, together with her husband Joachim, raised the young woman who would become the Mother of God. Every grace that adorned Mary's soul was nurtured by Anne's faithful motherhood.

"Her children rise up and call her blessed." — Proverbs 31:28

Prayer

O Blessed Mother of Mary, good St. Anne, you nurtured the most pure and holy soul ever created. In your arms, the future Mother of God grew in grace and wisdom. What a privilege was yours! Intercede for all mothers, that they may raise their children with the same faith, tenderness, and devotion that you showed to Mary. Help every mother to see her child as a gift from God, entrusted to her care for a sacred purpose. May all mothers, through your intercession, lead their children closer to Jesus. Amen.
