Opening Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O God, who through your blessed Apostle Saint Jude Thaddeus brought many nations to the knowledge of your name, grant that we who honor his memory on earth may rejoice in his companionship in heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Jude, Apostle and Martyr
Saint Jude Thaddeus, chosen by Christ himself to be numbered among the Twelve, you followed our Lord with unwavering fidelity. At the Last Supper, you asked Jesus: "Lord, how is it that you will reveal yourself to us and not to the world?" And he answered with the promise of the Holy Spirit.
"Jesus answered him, 'If a man loves me, he will keep my word. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him." — John 14:23
You sealed your apostleship with the crown of martyrdom, giving your very life for the faith you preached. Your courage in the face of death remains a beacon for all who suffer for the truth.
Prayer
O glorious Apostle and Martyr, Saint Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, I place myself in your care at this difficult time. Help me to know that I am not alone in my struggles. Pray for me that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, trials, and sufferings, particularly (mention your intention). I promise, O blessed Saint Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Most holy Apostle, Saint Jude Thaddeus, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hope and of hopeless cases. Pray for me who am so miserable; make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever.
